How to Make Histree. Step One: Create a Histree
Just look for the Create Histree button
Simply start by clicking the Create Histree button atop any page.
Upload or Import: It's up to you
Once you click the Create Histree button, you'll then be given the option of uploading content from your computer or importing photos or albums from Facebook, Flickr or MySpace.
Make Histree on Mobile

Create a Histree: Upload Content from your Computer.
Once you've clicked the Create Histree button, if you want to use content on your computer, click the 'Upload from your Computer' link.
Add Photos and Videos
You'll be taken to a page where you name your Histree and then click the 'Select Files' link to select the photos and videos you wish to include in your Histree.
Add Music or Audio Files
Upload audio files along with your photos and videos and they'll automatically be added as a soundtrack to this Histree.
Just select any audio files and OurHistree does the rest!
StoryLine a Histree: Add Story Points to your Histree.
Once you've selected your content and click open, you will be taken back to the Create page where your content uploads.
As it does, Story Point boxes open up for you to enter any Story Points you'd like.
What is a Story Point?
One thing is true of all stories. They all have a beginning, middle and end. Story Points show up as fun text inside your Histrees before or beside the content.
Just enter a little text to help tell the story from beginning to middle and end.
A photo is worth a thousand words though, so be short and snappy with Story Points (why a Story Point can be at most 140 characters).
Create a Histree: The Final Touches.
Order your Content by Date Taken
Click the 'Order by Date Taken' button and your content will even instantly re-order based on the date and time your camera created it.
Select a Background
There's a background for every mood. Select your favorite background for the Histree (remember: you can always change all of this later).
Set your Histree Speed.
Speed it up, Slow it down.
A Histree can be fast as lightning or slow and easy. First time out, we suggest leaving your Histree set to Normal. You can re-set this later whenever you like.
Create a Histree: Import from Facebook, Flickr or MySpace.
If you're a Facebook or Flickr User
Once you've clicked the Create Histree button, click one of the three icons under 'Import from these Sites' to create Histrees from your albums or sets.
If you click the Facebook Icon 
it will take you to a screen to log into your Facebook account if you are not already logged in.
Choose Albums or Photos
Once you are logged in, you'll be taken to a page to select Facebook albums or photos to import into a Histree.
Choose from your own Albums
Click one of your albums and you'll be asked to import all or only some of the photos in that album. It's up to you.
Click continue and then the 'Create New Histree' link and enter a Histree name, description and set a privacy level (described below). Click continue again and you're done! It's that fast.
In a moment you'll have a Histree!
Choose a Friend's Album
You can even do the same with your Facebook friends' albums. After clicking the Facebook Icon, just click on one of your Facebook friends under the 'Select a Friend to View their Albums' link and you'll see all your friend's public Facebook Albums.
Follow the steps above to create Histrees from their public Albums that you can post right to their Facebook wall!
Create a Histree: Fully Publish to Completely Private.
You set your Histree's privacy level.
Public
Publish your Histree. Make it Public and post it on your Facebook profile or send it to specific Facebook Friends or Groups. Tweet it. Embed it. Your Histree tells your story across your world wide web.
Unlisted:
Only people who know the link to the Histree can view it (such as friends or family to whom you send the link). An unlisted Histree will not appear in any of OurHistree's public spaces (such as search results).
Private:
NO ONE can ever view your Histree but members of your Histree. Who you invite to be a member is entirely up to you.
You'd like to Grow Your Histree: Just click Grow It!
Grow it to your heart's content
Click the Grow It! button atop any Histree and you'll be take to a page where you can add more content, switch backgrounds, change Histree speed, story points, add to your soundtrack.
Easy Reorder
While you're on the Grow It! page, click the Easy Reorder button to reorder your content in a flash. Just drag and drop the boxes and you're done.
Upload more Content
Click Upload to add more content to your Histree.
In the Twinkle of an Eye
Click finish and OurHistree rebuilds your Histree in the twinkle of an eye to ensure it catches everyone's eye.
